Pokemon Fans Propose a New Game Mode

 

Pokemon players believe that there is an option that would make the upcoming Pokemon games much more enjoyable. Even though Pokemon has always been quite popular, there is still room for improvement.

With the ability to decide where to go and which Pokemon gym leader to face, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet introduced fresh concepts and gameplay to the franchise. Fans of Pokemon games have praised many of the game's new additions, but there are still several contemporary gaming modes and features that they feel would greatly improve the game's formula. This is one such feature.

When Pokemon enthusiast ReinhartHartrein47 polled other players, it seems that most people would be interested in seeing a New Game+ mode for Pokemon. Players can start a new game at any moment, or they can switch to the other version of the game for a parallel experience, but the New Game+ option that is being proposed would have better AI and harder challenges. Nothing else should be carried over except for charms, according to ReinhartHartrein47, as doing so can speed up the rate at which players find Shinies throughout a playthrough if they get the Shiny Charm first.

Although there are several variants on this, many other fans seems to feel that it would be a good idea. Some people recommended entering New Game+ mode with the player's lead Pokemon or even their entire team, but with levels reduced so they must restart from scratch. In order to keep the challenge while preserving the player's accomplishments, some also suggested that the player's whole collection of Pokemon may be stored on the PC until they reach a level where they can utilize them once more.

Others proposed that Game Freak simply add the option to enhance the level of Pokemon games and even an option to bypass the tutorial for people who are familiar with the series, rather than relying only on a New Game+ mode for higher difficulty. Pokemon Black 2 had a harsher difficulty setting, however it could only be accessed after the trainer had traveled to the Pokemon League. These adjustments may help with the issue that many players don't need their hands held to learn the fundamentals while starting a Pokemon game because Pokemon Red and Blue were released thirty years ago.

It is unknown whether Game Freak will ever put such suggestions into practice. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, which should assist to address some of the issues players faced with the basic games, will provide gamers with new content for the time being.
